Bea's Party

Sorry things have taken so long....hopefully everything will be all on time now.

After Christopher's birthday party we headed over to Elsa's and had a small party for Bea.

There was a cool cupcake cake.

Everyone sang "Happy Birthday".

Bea got lots of cool gifts and cards.

It was a lovely party!

Congratulations!!!!

Polo and Jolene headed off to Las Vegas and with a hand full of family watching they got married this past Saturday!!! I heard that it was a very lovely ceremony and everyone there really enjoyed it. I hope that they are both very happy and wish them all the best in their new life together!

The Cast is Off

Isaac got his taken off on the 22nd of this month. He had it on for a month. He is very glad that he had it removed. Matthew filmed them taking the cast off and posted it on YouTube. Here is the link for those who would like to see it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0XL0iVtH3o

Clear the Roads

Just a warning for those of you who will be driving around Albuquerque, we have a new driver on the road. Matthew is very excited because he just got his licence. His mom gave a small used truck for his birthday and he is ready to cruise the highways.

Isaac'a Broken Arm

Isaac had three days left of school, when he was running in his classroom and tripped over the leg of a desk or chair. He ended up breaking his arm. He will be in a cast for 6-8 weeks. His grandma and I were worried that he had ruined his summer because he wouldn't be able to go swimming. However, we were able to find something called the Dry-Pro. It is a silicon sleeve which creates a vacuum seal around his cast, allowing him to shower, bath, and swim.

Isaac really loves it. When this picture was taken, he wasn't sure if he wanted any one to sign his cast because his friends were not going to be able to. He has since decided that other people can sign and had LOTS of names on it.

A House Warming

Lee and Lupe had a house warming yesterday. They invited lots of people over and had a ton of great food. They made guacamole, salsa, steaks, chicken, roasted corn, roasted jalapenos, and roasted onions. They also had a ton of chips and warm tortillas. Everyone had a very nice time hanging out and listening to music. Lupe had "Happy Mother's Day" balloons for all the moms who were there. She also had a Tres Leche cake for dessert.
