Parade Fun

Isaac and Matthew were in a Christmas parade on Saturday. They had lots of fun waving to the large crowd that gathered to see it. Isaac was marching with his middle school ROTC group, and I'm pretty sure Matthew just jumped in because he could.

Although it was cold and windy, Elena, Rudy, Stephanie, Polito, Jolene, Christopher, and myself all watched and waited for them to march past us. Christopher did enjoy watching all the cars, puppies, and horses going by.

(Some of the parade.)

(Isaac marches by...he's the short one.)

(Matthew takes time for a quick poise.)

David and Dawn welcomed Jhade Marion Stroble on November 30! She was 6lbs 14ozs and 19 inches long. She was born around 2:20pm. (Exact time to come.) Dawn did have a c-section, but she is doing well and hopes to be home tomorrow.

A Shower For Dawn and Jhade

Dawn had her shower yesterday. She had lots of friends from work and a few family members. There was lots of good food and a couple fun games. They also had a really good cake, which seemed home made. I accidentally put my camera in the hamper we gave Dawn....so I only have pictures of the last part. So sorry about that.

Dawn got a lot of really cool gifts, including LOTS of cute clothing. All her friends at Chili's pitched in and got her the travel system she wanted and a really nice changing table. Everyone seemed to have a really good time.

P.S. So sorry the pictures aren't the greatest...my camera batteries were dying.
(Friends and family watching as Dawn opens her gifts.)

Shower Update

Dawn passed out hand-made invitations to her baby shower. I was going to scan it in so everyone could see.....but that proved to be difficult. I took some pictures instead. Hope they help you get the full effect. She worked very hard on them.

Bea's Trip to The ER

Yesterday, Bea climb into the bath tub in Millie's bathroom in order to get a small fish bowl which had decorative sea shells in it. She tried to get out of the tub while caring the bowl and ended up dropping it. The bowl broke and when Bea went to pick it up, she cut her hand. Tere decided that she would take Bea to the emergency room, just to be safe. Luckily Bea's hand was okay and all she needed was a bandage.

After the visit to the er everyone came over to our house for pizza and salad. We all lots of fun talking and watching Christopher and Bea play. The poor things made quite a pair!

Dawn's baby shower will be on November 2. I do not have all the details right now, but once I know more I will be sure to let every one know.

Margaret will not be having a baby shower, however, Vangie is making her a "money cake made of diapers." Be sure to let Vangie know if you want to have anything added to the tree. I do not have a date yet, but it will also be in November.

Both Dawn and Margaret are having girls. Dawn is register at Babies R Us.

Evelyn was making a left hand turn when she was hit by a driver who ran the light. Luckily she was not hurt. Unfortunately she still has the licence plate from the other car to remind her that her pretty car is now no more. Poor Evelyn......We're all glade that you're SAFE!!!!!

Traveling

On Tuesday Rudy and Stephanie headed to Las Vegas to celebrate Rudy's birthday. They flew out and were hoping to have a really great trip without any kids. They did some site seeing, took in a show, and gambled a little of course. They came back Thursday.

Also, early this morning Elena, Millie, and Elsa piled into the car and headed to San Jose, California. They decided to do a little site seeing and visit Maunel. They plan to be back some time Monday. I hope they have a really great trip.

Aguirres Relocate

Just thought I would take this opportunity to let everyone know that Elsa and Elva are now happily living in Albuquerque. Everyone is excited at the thought of having them closer, (Christopher and I walk to their house almost everyday!). Their not the only family on the move. Betty decided she needed a change of pace, so she moved to Corpus Christi. She has an apartment and can't wait until she gets some visitors. (Vacation anyone?)

A Day Full of Fun

Bea's child care took her and some of her friends on a field trip to the zoo, and Millie signed up to chaperon. Elena took Matthew and Isaac. Elvira and Vincent happened to be visiting at the time, so they went as well. The boys had lots of fun checking out all the animals and hanging out together. They also got to ride a camel and play in the fountain. Vincent got so wet his grandma had to buy him a new shirt.

(Millie makes sure Elva is ready for the heat while Bea waits to see all the animals.)

(The boys hang on as their Camel goes for a walk.)

(There's always time to wave when your on a camel.)

After the zoo, Elena took everyone to Chuck E. Cheese. They ate l0ts of yummy pizza and salad. Vincent, Isaac, and Matthew played all the games they could. Everyone had a really fun day!

(Vincent takes a time out to pose with Chuck E.)

(Isaac does the same thing.)

(Vincent and Elena pose for the camera.)

Bea Turns One!

Sorry I haven't been able to get many updates lately. I was without a computer for awhile. However, everything is working.....so here's what's happened.

Millie and Theta decided to have a party in the park for Bea. They had a small picnic area decorated very nicely with streamers and balloons. There was lots of pizza, bread sticks, and salad to eat. Lots of family showed up to help celebrate.

Once everyone had enough to eat, we moved to another area of the park for the pinata. Millie and Theta rigged the pinata so that the little children could pull on a string and confetti would fall out. After all the little children pulled the strings, it was the big kids turn. Everyone had lots of fun attacking the pinata and then eating all the candy that fell out.

There were a couple different cakes. Millie got a small cake which looked like a dog for Bea. Christopher really liked the "woof woof" cake. We also had a tres leche cake which was decorated with Dora. We all sang "happy birthday" to Bea and then had cake and ice cream.

When it came time for the presents, Bea sat in her little chair and waited to see what she got. She got a LOT of clothes and lots of cool toys. It was a really fun party, if you ignore all the mosquitoes.

(Bea decided to give Christopher's push toy a try.)

(Everyone is enjoying the out door party.)

(Look at all that pizza!)

(Christopher reclaimed his push toy.)

(Christopher and Bea figured out how to share.)

(Bea is eating her pizza and coloring all at once.)

(Charlie and Christopher took off on their own adventure.)

(Check out all the presents.)

(What a pretty cake!)

(Here's the cool pinata.)

(All the confetti fell on Theta and Bea.)

(Natalie takes a swing at the pinata.)

(Elsa beats up the butterfly.)

(Elena focuses all her energy on her swing.)

(Politio takes his turn.)

(Manny prepares to finish off the butterfly.)

(Christopher picks out his favorite candy.)

(It's just too cute to eat.)

(Although Bea doesn't seem to think so.)

(MMMM.....what a yummy puppy!)

(Check out those hot mammas.)

(Bea waits to see what she got.)

(Bea gets a good look at her doll.)

(Bea really wants that doll.)

(Hey, it's a giggling Bert.)

(Who gave us a cantaloupe?)

(What a pretty dress.)

(More beautiful clothes.)

The party wouldn't have been complete if Joe hadn't got suck in the tree.

The boys try to figure out how to get Joe down.

Ten minuets later Joe's still in the tree.

20 minuets later their still trying to get Joe down.

Yea! He finally got out of the tree.
